Hands-On Training in Kiiko Style: KMS Fundamentals

Master invaluable treatment methods you can use right away during this one-day, small group training in Kiiko Matsumoto's most fundamental clinical strategies.

In this one-day workshop, subjects to be covered include:
-KMS fundamentals of palpation, point selection, needling and moxa
-Metal-Water treatments
-Stomach Qi
-Oketsu 
-Immune System Imbalances
-Adrenal imbalances 
-Systemic Detoxification

Instructor Grace Rollins will briefly review, demonstrate and answer questions for each of the curriculum units, then supervise breakout practice sessions where every participant will have the chance to practice diagnostic palpation, point selection and location, cross-palpation to check point efficacy, and (if licensed) relevant treatment strategies such as needling and moxibustion.

Grace and her assistants will offer guidance and correction to everyone throughout the day, allowing you to put Kiiko's powerful clinical approaches into practice with renewed confidence. 

Requirements: Kiiko Mastsumoto's Clinical Strategies,  Vol. 1 is a mandatory text for this class. For ordering information, see this link. This workshop is intended for those who are who are willing to complete mandatory reading from relevant chapters of Kiiko Mastsumoto's Clinical Strategies,  Vol. 1 prior to class, and/or who have had prior experience with Kiiko Style but would like to brush up on their hands-on technique. Our focus will be on the hands-on practice opportunity rather than lecture, though there will be plenty of room for Q&A as well as the sharing of clinical pearls.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS: Cancellation for any reason may be made up through June 1, 2022 for a full refund minus a non-refundable $25 deposit. After June 1, tuition amounts are non-refundable unless cancellation is made due to mandatory COVID-19 related illness or quarantining, in which case you will be refunded except for the $25 deposit. If Yuyao Society is for some reason forced to cancel this course due to COVID-19 or instructor illness, all participants will be refunded in full.

The clinic is located in the heart of beautiful Bucks County, PA within a one-hour drive of Philadelphia International Airport and 90 minute drive from Newark International Airport. Free parking is abundant on-site. The Doylestown SEPTA station (commuter rail from Philadelphia) is located within a 10-15 minute walk from the clinic.
