Seminar cancellation policies
Unless otherwise specified for a course, the following cancellation policy applies: A full refund minus a $10 admin fee is available within 48 hours of registering. A 90% refund minus $25 admin fee is available up to one month before the seminar date. After that a 75% refund minus $25 admin fee is available until two weeks before the seminar date. After two weeks before the seminar date refunds are not available. At our discretion in the case of family or personal emergencies we may be able to transfer registration or non-refunded amounts towards a future course.
Japan seminar: We have set the tuition as low as possible, and therefore we must adhere to a cancellation policy so we can cover our expenses. If you accept a place in the seminar, the deposit is non-refundable. Non-deposit tuition amounts are refundable if cancellation is made before August 1st. Tuition amounts are reimbursable by 50% from August 1-September 1st, after which the trip tuition is non-refundable.

Seminar cancellation/rescheduling
Yuyao Society reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to under-booking, severe weather, instructor illness, or other unexpected occurrences. In such an event refunds or transfers of tuition will be issued at no cost to participants, however, we cannot be held liable for personal travel bookings, therefore we recommend purchase of travel insurance and/or flexible bookings.
